A reserved table for 8, including a Special Honoree (see benefits below)

Special Honoree Benefits
Each year at the National Philanthropy Day event we provide an opportunity for nonprofit organizations, along with businesses and civic groups, to recognize and publicly acknowledge special donors in our midst who through their gifts of time, creativity and resources, make this community a better place.

These Special Honorees are brought to the luncheon by their hosts where they will be:

Greeted by an AFP Board Member with a glass of champagne.
Presented a special ribbon to wear so they can be recognized as receiving an honor.
Photographed with their host(s) from the nonprofit or group.
Receive a “Spirit of Philanthropy” certificate.
Have their name and why they are being recognized printed in the program.
Receive recognition from the podium for their philanthropy.

We encourage you to think about a donor who has gone above and beyond in providing resources for your agency, or for a cause you believe in, and ask them to join you at this event as your special guest.

One of the reasons the Wine Country Chapter instituted National Philanthropy Day was to give us just this kind of opportunity to “show off” those who have done so much to help us in our work. Those who have received this honor in the past have let us know it means a great deal to them.
